What is PrivacySense?
PrivacySense is a unique website that provides free, informative resources on Canadian privacy legislation for individuals and organizations. It enables both parties to understand Canadian privacy legislation and the rights and obligations imposed under legislation like PIPEDA.
About the Author
The primary author at PrivacySense is Mark Goldstein, a privacy enthusiast with years of corporate compliance experience in Canada’s private sector.
Because privacy legislation in Canada is relatively new, Mark saw an opportunity to combine his experience and passion for writing and teaching by creating resources that are entirely unique to the privacy community.
PrivacySense is the first and only Canadian privacy website to offer:
- Comprehensive information on PIPEDA, including a commentary on the 10 Privacy Principles
- A guide to Canadian privacy legislation and a summary of private and public privacy legislation in each province and territory
- Privacy articles that assist and educate both individuals and organizations
- A Privacy Q&A where anyone can ask a question and have the answer shared online for all to learn from
- The ability to find a privacy lawyer with a free directory
